Noisy right side fan

My right side fan was making a loud and annoying noise.

Mi Solución

Went well. The instructions to replace the fan were basically the same as the instructions to replace the harddrive which I had already done several months ago. I also had the iFixit tool set which makes it easier because I had the correct tools. When I opened the MBP I found that the fan was loose so I tightened it. However, the fan still made noise so I opened the MPB again and replaced it and now it is quiet. It took about 15 minutes to open the MBP and do the replacement and close it back up again. Easy to do but there are a lot of screws to manage.

Mi Consejo

Make sure you have the right tools. You need a very small torx wrench and smal philips screwdriver. Set up separate places to put the different screws so that they don't get lost or mixed up.
