Mi Problema
I had a 3 year old iPhone 3GS. Figured it was time to replace the battery. The battery info app I got from Cydia said the max capacity was 930mAh and 355 charge cycles.

The repair went fine. However the replacement battery I received from iFixit had black marker on the battery. Perhaps this is normal. However after the install the battery info app says the max capacity is 1131mAh and that it has 11 cycles on it. I was expecting it to be around 1200-1220mAh and maybe 1 charge cycle. Did iFixit sell me a slightly used battery? Or was it a little old?

No advice really. Despite my reservations I'm sure iFixit is the best place to source things.
