Mi Problema

While replacing the dock connector, I damaged the home button cable.

The repair went well. The ease of removing the front display assembly makes me want to replace it with a different color.

The thing to remember is when you are installing the front display assembly, be careful of the two cables the must be threaded through the chassis. It can appear that the cables are all the way through when in fact they are not. If this happens, the cables will not be long enough to reach their connections. It took me a few minutes to figure why the cables wouldn't reach. I had to take the front display off again to get the cables free. I got lucky the cables weren't damaged. In the then all is well.
