I was skeptic and realised that my Ps3 was different to the one dePicted on ifixit. Took some pics of my own on each main step to be able to reassemble it and even though i have almost no experience fixing things this one worked like a miracle.

Try fixing your stuff, its not as hard as "they" (the company) want you think it is. It is much cheaper than a new device and comes with a very rewarding feeling of achievement, almost like a game itself!
