The very low speed HDD, installed in my MacMini slow down this magical computer. I decide to install two drives - SSD + Hybrid Seagate and join them into Fusion Drive - hybrid technology announced by Apple.

I bought iFixit Dual Hard Drive Kit for Mac Mini 2011. OCZ Vector SSD 256 Gb, Seagate Hybrid HDD 7200 rpm 750 Gb. Using tools in iFixit kit I removed installed Toshiba drive and install SSD and HDD drives. Using description found in internet I build VolumeGroup with SSD and HDD and made them Fusion Drive. So, the result - 1 Tb storage space in MacMini with speed oа SSD.

Your manipulation will destroy ALL DATA!!! Make backup first.
I suggest to use Carbon Copy Cloner software instead of TimeMachine backups - first restore in minutes, second - in hours.
