Mi Problema
My 320 GB drive was about full, and I needed more drive space. I purchased the 2 TB replacement drive to get the needed space and also seemed to gain speed, back to like when the computer was new.
Mi Solución
The repair went smoothly. It took about 30 minutes to install. I needed the suction cups to pull the screen, so I went to the local Home Depot, and purchased them there. They also had a small Huskey driver set that had the needed torx drivers. After that I just followed the Ifixit instructions and everything was good.
Mi Consejo
After I had the drive installed and all was in running order, it was time to start it up. I put my install disk for the lion operating system in the disk drive and turned it on. I used the disk utility to format the hard drive and then was going to reinstall the os. One of my options was to restore from my time machine backup from apple. About 5 hours later, everything was back the way it was before starting the project. No problems to report. Thanks Ifixit for your great instructions and videos...
