iPod 5th gen battery replacement

Mi Problema

After many years the battery just died .... Decided , like so many out there , to give the battery replacement a try rather than give into Apples anti consumer strategies. I had nothing to loose given ifitit product costs and how to guides.

Mi Solución

Replacement went pretty much as per the instructions given. The warning about level of difficulty was right on but not discouraging. Had the battery in within a half hour of beginning the process.

Unfortunately, while the iPod came to life once again , I discovered another issue others have complained about .....iPod won't power down ..... At this point the laws of diminishing returns take hold. Glad I gave the replacement a try, learned a lot and gained confidence...... But this iPod is heading for recycle bin .......

Great site, instructions, products, cost are A+ ..... On this specific product a few words on reconnecting the ribbons would be helpful.
