Mi Problema

The hard drive of my Mac had to be replaced. I would have had to pay over $250 to fix it. I decided to purchase a new Mac instead. After a year of the old Mac just sitting there I thought I would look on the internet for a hard drive that would fit. I found ifixit. I purchased the hard drive and tool kit for $148.

Mi Solución

The repair was so easy to do.

The Macbook is now working wonderfully and I have two computers.

Mi Consejo

The only thing I forgot to do was to go to utilities on the disk to format the partitions. This delayed me for a short period of time as I couldn't work out why the new hard drive was not accepting the operating system.
