Mi Problema
Power supply died on Mac Mini. Needed to yank the drive out of the mid 2011 mac mini so I could remove sensitive business information prior to giving to apple for applecare service.

I expected it to be harder than it was, with the right tools, it was very easy. I love the magnetic dry-erase mat, what a difference that can make. iFixit pro tech toolkit and the magnet
Mi Consejo
When just cleaning a drive and not replacing it, it is not necessary to do the last couple steps of the iFixit guide, once the drive is detached and removed, the drive can be attached using any SATA cable without removing the sticky-black wrapper or pulling the mac mini out of its shell.
