Mi Problema
Mid 2011 3.4 GHz dual i7 27" iMac was totally dead. No sound at boot attempt. Removed screen and saw that no diagnostic LEDs were lit on the motherboard when under power. Purchased replacement power supply with overnight delivery.
Mi Solución
Replaced power supply and did the dual SSD update at the same time. Perfect step-by-step guide on ifixit walked me through the process. Computer works perfect now!
Mi Consejo
It's kind of a pain in the butt to get the LED screen and glass front perfectly clean before reinstall. I recommend having a can of compressed air on hand to blow away dust from the surfaces.
