Nerve-racking and a bit slower than necessary because I usually break things not fix them. I got over anxious, waiting for the ifixit kit to arrive. Then started to buy some repair parts at a local hardware store which only slowed me down and ended up costing more money than necessary.
Mi Consejo
Allot 2 to 3 hours for the fix. Go slow and watch a couple videos from various sources before you start your own fix. At completion the Xbox may not turn on but I just waited for a few minutes and then I was ecstatic. Guys like me usually don't fix anything but this actually worked, my wife and kids were proud of their old man. Thanks a ton
