straight fwd and easy fix. Added Ram to a laptop. Advice from computer experts other than Apple told me that in this case, I could add up to a total of 8 GB of RAM. Apple advised no more than 4. I chose to try 8. Not a good choice. Computer ran hot, and quickly, so I reduced RAM to a total of 4GB. Now works fine..I guess Apple knows what they are talking about.., I did discuss this with those who advised 8GB, and they were surprised at my results/probs... Listen to the manufacturer when in doubt.
