Had a Mac Mini with a 500gb spinning HDD and I wanted to give it dual drive option booting off a 240gb Solid State

OK the only history I have of computer hardware changes has been HDD replacements in conventional size PC boxes, with lots of space. I had read through the instructions once before - despite this, it took me just an hour from unplugging to plugging back - no mis-steps taken, nothing needed to be redone, I was just slow and methodical.
Mi Consejo
I chose the Kingston V Now 200+ as my preferred Solid State drive
Keep an eye out for which way the power lead goes in and where precisely it plugs in
Took the option to clean out any dust that had got sucked in
I had created a bootable USB stick with the installer for Mountain Lion before hand - so when I plugged everything back together, it was just a case of:
A) Boot up once normally and use Disk Utility to format the new drive
B) Reboot from the USB stick and get it to install ML onto the new drive
C) I could have then restored from Time Machine - but I took the option for a spring clean. So copied across the old Document folder form HDD to the SSD and then reinstall the applications
