Sheared Power Plug

Mi Problema

Contractor knocked a 1.42 G4 off a table, sheared the plug off in the power assembly. After an operation to remove the plug tip, I still needed a new power supply.

Plugged it in, worked.

Mi Consejo

If you have a power cord tip sheared off in a laptop, it is best to just don your anit-static strap and operate. Wasted much time trying to probed/drill/paste the tip out. Took about 20 seconds once I had access to the power module.
