Mi Problema
The vibrator stopped working months ago, and all non intrusive attempts at fixing the problem failed.
Mi Solución
I used the pentalobe #2 driver from the 54 bit driver kit to remove the bottom screws on my phone, the bit worked perfectly on the first screw but on the second screw it kept slipping. The bit head had become rounded and almost useless after the first use. I had to use the smallest cross point to finish the job. Once the screws were out the repair went smoothly. I removed the back easily and the screws that hold the vibrator in place came out easily. I installed the new vibrator and put the phone back together.
Powered it back up and tested the vibrator - Success!
My only issue is with the pentalobe bit, I am very disappointed in the quality of the bit. The rest of the kit looks OK and worked fine, I will have to see how the other bits hold up to use.
