Was watching a movie on the netflix app on my ps3 when everything shut off and wouldn't turn back on. Then I realized that I got the YLOD.

The kit was great but the guide shows pics and steps of idk the 60 or 80gb fat ps3. I have the fat 40gb ps3 and found the insides to be alot different but I mananged. Now my ps3 lives again, just in time for Assassin's Creed 3 !!
Mi Consejo
Take your time and make sure you know what and how everything goes back together. Also be gentle on the data ribbons ( can't stress that enough).
