27" iMac upgrade

Looking to improve the bootup time of my mid 2011 iMac with a primary SSD and secondary 2TB HDD.

Wow! It's almost insane how complex and cumbersome this upgrade was. The upgrade would have been near impossible without the magnetic pad which allowed me to group screws into specific groups and patterns.

Mi Consejo

Upgrade is not for the faint of hearted. If a person is not completely comfortable with general upgrades and not able to identify specific component types, I wouldn't recommend going forward. This is a very expensive piece of equipment to screw up due to an inflated ego.
