Yes! Kit was totally worth it! It gave my PS3 an extra life! It's only been a week, and I hear that these repairs are only temporary, but hey, I got my "life" back. If I must do it again, I'm confident that it can be done now. I'd just need to buy a bit more thermal paste...

Use that heat gun a little longer. I did 45 sec instead of 25, since some of the solder didn't seem to soften completely. Worked like a charm, though, and I'm hopeful that it'll last a long time.
