"broken" 2010 macbook air

Mi Problema

Friend fell on my laptop and then when booting up the laptop kernel_task constantly running at 100% CPU usage, making the computer unusably slow. Did some research and found out it was most likely a hardware issue, so I ordered the part in hopes of it being an easy fix.

Mi Solución

Opened up air after removing screws with ordered part and noticed the battery ribbon had come detached. So I simply reattached it and fired laptop back up. Returned to normal immediately and continues to work as it did previous to the incident.
