Didn't see the point in paying 150 dollars to sony to fix it. Or 90 for them to send me a junk refurbished one. Im pretty handy, i knew if i had the right equipment i could get it done and i did. Managed to take it apart and put it back together myself.
Mi Solución
I did the first time and i was a little hesitant with the heat gun, it worked for a few days then died again. I reopened it, took the heat gun to it again but a little longer than last time and it seems like that might have done it.

I recommend anyone who truly believes they can follow the instructions and do this to buy this kit and do it themselves. You'll find it to be much easier than it looks and you will be glad you did it yourself.
