Found out that I didn't need either tool, because the instructions from Apple did not require the disconnection of the battery for either RAM or Hard Drive.

You should update your guides, the mid-2012 Macbook Pro uses Philips screws and according to Apple's own documentation, there is no need to disconnect the battery, which I find curious when compared to prior experience with PC laptops. However, I like the build quality of your tools.
