Screen replacement successful — almost.

Cracked screen.

Mi Solución

The screen replacement went fairly well except that I damaged the wifi/bluetooth antenna in the process.

I also had a hard time getting the adhesive applied properly and consistently without problems.

I wish iFixit had a guide or some instructions for the third-gen iPad repair and that it included a warning on the antenna and information on applying the adhesive.

Mi Consejo

Be very careful when cutting through the adhesive and removing the screen that you don't damage the wifi.bluetooth antenna. It's below and to the right of the home button, make sure you only pry through the adhesive as little as possible.
