Mi Problema
The Kindle Fire has a known design flaw, dust gets inside it in between the LCD and glass screen. I think this is the case because they are not fused or sealed in anyway. While Amazon is good about replacing the unit for this it gets tedious after the 3rd or 4th time.
Mi Solución
smooth as silk. The guide was very easy to follow and made taking the KF apart to remove all the dust with a lint free cloth and canned air.
Mi Consejo
Don't twist the smaller plastic opening tool when separating the kindle case. It will snap the tip of the tool off.
