Students seem to think that leaving their laptop on a messy floor and then treading on it, or dropping it from a great height onto a concrete floor, is a good idea. This left us with a problem!

Awesome, having fixed screens up to now with a guitar plectrum it was nice to use a REAL Spudger!!

If you don't have a spudger - use a plectrum

Beware the nasty little connector at the bottom. Take the advice left by previous fixers and remove the Clutch Cover. This helps you to be able to hold the cable taut (with a spudger!) so you can put the LCD screen on the connector without it squirming away
