My phone would die after maybe 30 minutes of use and would need to be recharged. Basically became completely useless.

Very well. Lots of little pieces, but the guide was very good and it only took about 30 minutes.
Mi Consejo
The adhesive on the battery is very strong, you'll really have to apply pressure to get it off.
