I upgraded my RAM on a 2009 MacBook Pro from 4gb to 8gb. I was quoted $170 to get the job done professionally. I purchased the RAM on Amazon and the iFixit kit, and I was able to do the same upgrade for $70. I saved $100!

The upgrade went well. With my new iFixit kit, I was able to make the upgrade in five minutes. Thank you!
