The Repair went very well. The items came in fast and waited for the weekend to start the repair, with a print out of the disassembly of the system, followed every step to a T and the yellow light of death was no more. My game was retrived and for 20 minutes I was in glory........however when I went to transfer my data to a new PS3 System all 4 USB ports failed to operate, checked and re-checked to ensure all was put back correctly and still no luck. With this problem I feel I am above my repair skill and will need to seek someone else to assist. But ifixit did what they said and the product worked very well

A re-assembly guide would have been nice, there were moments when I was flying blind on a rocket cycle (name that movie) but patience prevailed and all turned out well (-the usb port failure that happened later) and a shout out to M.J. for the video it was a plus when I got stuck
