Shattered glass screen
Mi Solución
Screen was replaced with ease considering it was a first attempt thanks in part to the tools supplied by iFixit. However for reasons unknown the replacement screen (from another source) did not work.
Mi Consejo
Be wary of the "How to replace an Ipod touch screen" videos on YouTube. While there was one warning to be wary of a ribbon cable when opening up the case I found 2 other earthing patches had been glued to the underside of the digitizer and had to be carefully pried off during removal.
