Mi Problema
The IPOD battery died after 7 years of use. Rather than throwing the IPOD into the trash I decided to try and replace the battery.
Mi Solución
The repair was a success. The hardest part of the job is separating the two half's of the case. Removing the battery cable from the on-board connector required a smaller pry tool than supplied. The old battery was really stuck to the case with adhesive.
Mi Consejo
Don't try this if you are not comfortable working with micro-electronics. I am a communications technician with 35 years experience and used to working with small electronics and tight spaces.
