MacBook Air 1st Gen Audio Issue

Mi Problema

Bought a used MBAir 1st gen. Experienced no audio via onboard speaker nor through headphones. After reading several online comments about this issue, I ordered a new audio cable from iFixit (Product code: IF188-014-1

Apple Part #: 922-8380).

Mi Solución

Super easy repair thanks to iFixit online guide. MBAir is now fully functional.

Mi Consejo

Recommend that you use screw drivers specific to the hardware specs Apple uses. Definitely risk stripping the screws if you "make due" with wrong sized tools.
