I also bought the rrod fix it kit which was quite good and followed the guide also was good. however I ended up having to use a heat gun and some flux, i already had the heat gun and flux was cheap from my local electronics store so it was worth it in the end because I dont mind a bit of stuffing around to fix things
Mi Consejo
the xbox fix it kit makes things easier and the guide is good but be prepared to change the X clamps and the xbox still not work.
