Mi Problema
The right side fan in my MacBook Pro died. I went in to replace it and decided to bump up the hard drive while I was in there.
Mi Solución
The hard drive was a piece of cake. I wish I could say the same about the fan. Installing the fan was easy enough, but, no matter how I tried, I could NOT get the surface mount power connector to mate. As of now, the right fan still does not work. I used software to run the left fan at full speed all the time. I suspect this is only a temporary fix.
Mi Consejo
I searched the web and found basically nothing about this problematic connector. I'd like to see iFixit address this.
