Mi Problema
....the phone was nearly three years old and I decided to take the front screen protector and protective back case off it. It looked like new! Unfortunately I dropped it on a stone on the road and shattered the screen. Couldn't bear to take it to a repair shop and spend a lot on it at this stage of its life.
Mi Solución
The repair went much better than expected. The guiding instructions were very clear, although I thought I would struggle with some of the intricacies. In the end there were no problems at all.
Mi Consejo
Just patience....The shards of glass were embedded in the old adhesive and needed to be surgically removed one by one. I found a little fan heater provided enough heat rather than purchasing a heat gun. I've put a new screen protector and protective spine back on.
