Mi Problema

My battery life was going haywire for a few months. I tried all the solutions like restoring my phone from backup to doing a clean new phone restore, but my phone would still lose power even if it was displaying 60% on the battery meter. After trying the non-battery replacement fixes, then I figured it was the battery that was the issue.

Mi SoluciĆ³n

The repair went well. The step-by-step guide was straightforward. Paired with the video installation I was able to follow everything well. It was just time consuming since I wasn't familiar with the connectors and so forth. The little screws can be a pain to add back in. Overall the replacement took 45 min, mainly because I had issues with the screws. Since the repair though, my phone battery life is acting like when I first got it. The phone has crashed/froze on me, but at least I'm able to restart and the battery life is fine.

Mi Consejo

I'm not the most mechanically gifted person out there so if I can do it, almost anyone can. I would advise people who've never done any DIY upgrades to their computer (like upgrade ram) to maybe refrain from doing this. But if you have that experience, replacing the phone batter isn't that much more difficult than adding ram.
