I was duped into buying a faulty ps3. Determined to fix it I came to ifixit.com
Mi Solución
The repair process took about an hour and a half. It was very straight forward and the guide detailed the process quite well. It also helped that I had a friend who had done this repair once before guiding me. (Although I could have done it without him)
Mi Consejo
Really keep track of the screws, there is a lot of them. As with most things in life, taking something apart is easy; It's putting it back together which is the hard part.
