The power button stopped responding to depresses entirely. I saw the part on iFixit, bought it, and used the guide to replace the button.

Unfortunately, the button wasn't actually the problem; the root cause was that the power sensor is no longer functioning correctly. I just ordered the correct part (PN: IF182-015-1) from iFixit. Once it arrives, I will post the results of my attempt to fix my device

I used a weak refrigerator magnet to keep track of the screws. I first sectioned it off, then as I removed the screws, I put them in similar positions in each section of the magnet (hint: each section corresponded to a step in the process... that made it easy to replace the screws).
