Mi Problema
I love my 3Gs and have resisted the temptation to upgrade. Over the last month, my battery started to exhibit a quirk where it consistently shut down my phone at 30%. Time for a new battery!
Mi SoluciĆ³n
The guide was excellent. The only minor surprises were: 1. How much effort it took to remove the display section from the case. It was really sealed tightly. 2. How hard it was to remove the battery, even after heating it with a hair dryer. Mine was really glued down. 3. The touch it took to get cable connector 3 back in is slot. It's the only one that doesn't press down into place. But, none of these surprises made the repair overly difficult. And, my trusty 3Gs is like new! Thanks.
Mi Consejo
Pay attention to cable 3 (how it disconnects) for reassembly reference. Don't use your plastic spudger to try to break the adhesive seal on the battery or you'll have an ex-spudger. Gently use a small, metal screw driver.
