Battery efficiency was way down. Though the phone is old, I thought to extend its life by using it for other things.

Also, I was lazy enough to leave the display connected while removing the battery.

Success of battery replacements always depends on the adhesive strip releasing or breaking. In another time, the strips broke off, and I had to pry the battery out of its place. Almost broke the phone at that time.
