MBP 3" Battery Replacement

Completely dead battery which turned out to be the cause of an extreme slowdown, apps bouncing in the Dock, constant beachballs, etc.

Went very nicely. I followed the step-by-step instructions and read every comment appended to each step. I also watched multiple Youtube videos.

There really is no need to use the acetone/alcohol solvent until after you have removed the batteries and are removing the residue from the two-sided tape which held the batteries to the top case. Some YouTube videos suggested using dental floss, but that was insufficient to the task. I had some fishing line and that worked perfectly. The batteries, once I got the fishing line around them, came out surprisingly easy.
