My Mac Mini was running out of local storage space, so I decided to make use of the empty area in the Mac.

I'm familiar with upgrading and repairing all models of Macs, having owned a variation of nearly every model. The install went smooth, but when I reconnected everything, I noticed the Mac was a little sluggish, and ran extremely hot. I detached everything and popped the bottom to discover that the fan cable wasn't completely attached. I hit my self in the head and reconnected the cable. I let the computer cool down, and restarted it. Everything's been working great since.
Mi Consejo
Just make sure you check and double check your work. No point in upgrading a system if personal negligence causes damage to the system.
