I had cracked my screen and thought that while I was inside the phone I would replace the charging port since it had ceased to work.

Mi Consejo
Just a note that when you replace the daughterboard remember to move the Bluetooth and sell antennas over from the old unit to the new one before you close it up. I had a open mine up again to take care of that. Love iFixit you're the best!
