I used you tube videos for the ps3 dissassembly, simple, easy to follow, then used the fixity repair kit and online repair instructions, took about 40 minutes, put the unit back together, powered up and wow it worked...very easy repair.

Great repair kit easy to follow instructions. If you get the ylod spend the money on the repair kit, it may just surprise you, and save you 250.00 buying a new ps3.
