Difficult

Mi Problema

I wanted to revive my old MacBook Pro, so I replaced the battery and put in an SSD. And hey presto! After getting it all set up, it failed. After a bit of research, I determined the problem was the logic board, and I thought, "I’ve come this far..."

Mi Solución

I am a novice. My only experience fixing stuff has been the SSD and the battery replacement, and the repair went really well. The guide was easy to follow, and all the comments and tips from other repairers were invaluable. I had a few moments where I was struggling a bit, but it seemed like others did too at the same points.

Mi Consejo

I nearly missed the two other separate heat sinks at the end. It seems to be missing from the guide, but because I had seen them on the iFixit site, I managed to work it out.
