I ran into 2 problems. First, I broke both adhesive strips. I ended up heating the phone with a hairdryer and prying out the batter with a credit card. The old battery got bent, but it didn't break. The instructions should advise folks to heat it up to start with, or to try to pull it out the side. Second, after I reassembled I had a small blue dot on my screen over where the batter connects to the phone. The instructions should advise to place the battery just a hair off the top so it aligns better. I managed to get rid of the dot by opening the phone and pushing that area down harder. I also tried not to push the screen back down as hard. Some combination of those things fixed the issue.
