Like a brand new computer

Mi Problema

My girlfriend asked me to clean up her computer and get it running a little faster, if I could. I took a look at the specs, and for a 2012 it was pretty good, but it just had two bottlenecks. Not enough RAM and an old disk-based hard drive...so I figured I'd pop the thing open and replace them.

Mi Solución

The repair was great. The instructions made it easier than I expected to spot what I needed to do, and how to do it. I'm usually skittish about cracking open laptops, but the guides make it much more approachable.

She's thrilled, because she didn't expect a night and day difference. I got a lot of brownie points for this one...

Mi Consejo

Think twice before dropping $2k on a new laptop. Sometimes the older models just need a bottleneck or two removed.
