My battery was ruining my phone. It destroyed 2 cables and was rendering my phone useless.

It was straightforward and fairly easy. If you can shade tree mechanic then you can fix a phone no problem.

Pay special attention to the screw lengths and where they come from and go back to. There are notes from experienced repairers throughout the steps. Read them. Be especially careful removing the battery adhesive strips. All of mine pulled apart. It was tedious to get them back out after that.

Hi, sometimes the white tip means the pen is just brand new. Try and push the point on some smooth surface and make some scrawls. It may start working. Cheers!
