Replaced hard drive

The problem was that the laptop was so slow and constantly had the pin wheel of death. Minor task would bogged it down and in many times would make things freeze. It was very frustrating

They repair was super easy. The hardest part was figuring out how to clone the hard drive before I took the old one out.

When you’re buying a SSD hard drive a little extra for the upgraded kit that gives you the ability to plug the hard drive into the computer with a USB. It allowed for me to clone the hard drive before I swap them out. Also Mac has ability to draw on its own internal program that you do not need to download anything extra to do the cloning. It has made a huge difference. My laptop runs like it’s brand new. It’s faster by a large margin. It’s probably faster than it was when I was brand new. I also upgraded the RAM which I’m sure helped. The simple repair will probably give me quite a few more years out of this laptop. Before this I was ready to throw it out
