XBOX woes

Mi Problema

One day i turned on my XBOX that i've had for 2 years and it was at the grey setup screen.

My WIFI had stopped working in my XBOX for over a year but i've used a hard wired connection to get on live and play online games.

Once my XBOX would get to the network tab on the setup screen it would ask if i used WIRED or WIRELESS and everytime i would select WIRED it would tell me my wireless device didnt work and that i needed it repaired:(

I called microsoft and they said it would cost me $130 to repair to fix this issue.

Mi Solución

Repaire was smooth, the hardest part was getting the case off. Once you get the case off its easy to replace the wifi card.

Mi Consejo

Really pay attention to how you put the cover to the xbox back on. if you dont do it as described in the picture you have to take the whole thing apart again...which was tough for me.
