Aside from the fact that I couldn't find a breakdown video for my exact model anywhere, it went pretty smooth. I ended up with like 3 extra screws but the system works now so I'm not too concerned.
Mi Consejo
Have some isopropyl alcohol and compressed air ready during the teardown, my PS3 was filthy (which may have lead to the ylod). Also, keep your screws organized and take pictures if you can't remember where like 30 screws go.
