Mi Problema

Battery was dead!

Mi SoluciĆ³n

I found my old 3rd generation iPod (the first one I ever purchased and my favorite because of the touch buttons that lit up red and the touch scroll wheel!), but was sad that it wouldn't charge. Miraculously, I'd saved the firewire charger. The repair of the 3rd generation iPod battery using iFixit's repair went beautifully, and I had my iPod back! Took it to work (didn't mind using wired headphones!) - then I dropped it in the elevator. It went into error mode thereafter, and I've been sad ever since. But the battery still works! Maybe I'll repair the HDD next...

Mi Consejo

Don't drop the iPod after you fix it!

You could put a SDHC or SDXC card in Using a 50 pin 1.8 inch Toshiba hard drive to CF adapter ($3-$4), then a CF to SD adapter ($10-$12) then whatever card u choose, up to about 64GB!
